OCHF Raises $61,000 for mental health

This year we raised over $61,000 at Gala to improve access to care for mental health.

Our community and providers expressed concerns about increasing mental healthcare needs. Last year, OMC served 1,458 unique patients with a primary or secondary diagnosis of depression and/or anxiety. Total encounters were 4,851 or an average of 22 encounters/patient.

OMC will now have a licensed social worker and a psychologist available to provide consultations alongside the primary care providers, improving access to care in a shorter time frame.
