The mission of Osceola Medical Center is to inspire and improve the health and wellbeing of the communities it serves in the St. Croix Valley.  In 2008, OMC opened its doors in a new location with a primary care clinic, emergency room, and hospital to better serve the healthcare needs of community.  Shortly after opening, a partnership was formed with Christian Community Homes to connect an assisted living and long-term care facility to the OMC campus. This addition provided a campus for all stages of life. 

 

Wellness is also what OMC wants to inspire for the community. Over time, a fitness center, fitness trail, sport court, all inclusive playground, soccer fields, and green space were also added on campus to provide opportunities for movement, socialization, gathering, and relaxation.

 

We are grateful for our patients and for our community, and we want to continue to provide timely access to care now and in the future. In order to meet growing demands for healthcare, we need to reconfigure and expand our campus.  Here are the priorities for the project:

• Provide the care and services patients want and deserve locally

• Improve clinic spatial capacity to meet patient growth now and in the future

• Improve infrastructure for advanced patient communication and future healthcare innovation

• Develop safer and more private spaces for patients, visitors, and employees

• Provide a larger therapeutic space for rehabilitation, physical therapy, nutrition, and wellness

• Create accessible gathering spaces for meetings, conferences, community events, and meditation
